Badminton

Oh ya.. enjoyed the badminton session. Wilson is a sharp player. he made good recoveries. But there was a match when me and mantou won wilson and rachel by 21-20. That was the onli victory we had against the duet. And shaoqi and bernard were also present. Quite hilarious things happened on court too.

And while on the way back home on MRT, while me and mansze were chatting happily at our seats.. i accidentally dropped my hp, and it slided all the way across the cabin and under seat of an old man.. and it was quite crowded there.... so malu.....and there was a lady who kept laughing upon seeing this. had to stand up , walk over to that seat and bend all the way down to retrieve the phone.. and they were all watching me.. and mansze was so tickled..cos it was a v embarrassing scene.

After she left, i met an old fren of mine who was with his frens. He gave me a stunning surprise. While chatting with him.. my fren's fren suddenly said that my fren need to go home to look after his child, therefore he is v tired these days. I tot it was a joke.. and i was thinking it was a lame joke...but then my fren nodded his head and said that it is true. I was like, what!!? when did u have a child. later he revealed that he was married 2 years ago to his present wife and have their first child 5 months ago! I was stunned. cos i had seen him from time to time while on the way back from sch.. but he didnt ever break this news to me before! And he is a student like me too... so i realli didnt expect him to tell me this... when before that he didnt even mention that he was attached , not to mention married and even with a baby! Haha. congrats anyway, i am sure being a father is a v nice experience. and i am happy for him as he is happy and contented to having a family, though he needs to study, work and look after his family at the same time. =)

Badminton!!

Later after the environ lecture, will be playing badminton with the usual kakis at hall 10. which i supposed is a good habit we r developing. Anyway, saw her again in sch!~ yay. but nt sure which fac she is in..

Day in day out, week in week out.

Day in day out, week in week out. And my first quiz is just 1 week later.. and i have nt v clear idea of much of the topic! the fact that the modules r tougher with tutors who r speeding thru their tuts dont realli help much in our understandings(or at least mine). And the week is super tiring. Think i am gg to be worn out after this sem. But i can still keep it going now. Just need some breaks in btw. Like the wednesday badminton with Wilson,Yangshan and co.. was nt exactly the best of our games, but nevertheless, still was a break from the damn schedule. thurs is as usual late lecture till 830. But next thurs there is no evening lecture, yeah!

Friday.. what i did? i read thru RC notes.. and that is it. i took eons to read finish notes. And today's bball was ok. Not v nice in my opinion. but still passable. then studying after bball is a tough tough task. Need to fight of sleepiness and tiredness. And the notes r so technical... i cant help it but wander/wonder a lot with my already wanderous mind. Oh ya.. the onli thing tt spice up my boring student life is that i found an Ipod! it is one with the metalic back. and there is a moment greed almost overwhelm me... but luckily the uncle nearby me kept looking at me (cos i bent down to pick up the ipod and thus attracted his attention).. and so i didnt consider twice before handling the found ipod to the library counter(a bit compelled to do so la...under his eye power). and there is an instance last week when i also returned sth upon my own will to the Best Denki salesman. This 2 incidents proved sth...i am still affected by greed, and in fact i felt the influence much stronger than before. However, i am glad i am still able to resist the temptation of greed. Greed will make one less poor, but honesty will richen one's integrity.

And tml my tution kid is postponing his lesson again! and i am suppose to collect my long awaited fee tml.. seems like i can onli get it the next week. Now i am pondering whether shld i change my way of fee collection.. i am currently collecting fee after 8 hours of lessons. meaning if he postpones a lesson by a week, i will be getting the fee a week later. In all, i wont even be earning 12 months of fee in a year. I am thinking of monthly collection. This is a more stable way of earning income. But there r bound to be problems from this system.. since if there is any change to be made.. i will need to open up a slot for him in the weekday. hmmm. times r bad. think i will stick to the first system.. since it is fairer and thus the parents wont change tutor at least for the fee collection reason. =P

Hope mood to remain

Recently kind of stressed up a little.. cos of increasing work load. And sat's bball is quite a gd way to vent my frustration.. except that i made many unreasonable fouls on Tank1. Sorry for that!
And today's tut is v sucky. damn draining on my brain. Super stressed. But while meeting lena and zhijia tonight, managed to put down the load, at least for a brief 2-3 hrs. that is a gd sign. I knew when to rest. And so i will leave my tuts for tml to complete.. and gg to sleep now.. this gd mood must maintain.. so hor.. u all frens.. try to cheer me up!

There is some dispute over the sales of the book now. And i am stuck with my structure 2 tuts.. so difficult!Today is such a tiring day! Sucks.

in sch

in lib now. and had my mom textbook sold at 18 dollars. initially is 20 bucks during negotiation. But the buyer changed the price without me knowing to 18 dollars. And since i had already let the middleman took my book to let the buyer inspect, i also dun realli mind selling it at 18 bucks too.. since i bought it second hand at 18 dollars too. The buyer said the book is a little bad in condition.. but this is the first owner's doing! he didnt take care of the book..

Anyway, so funny thing happened today. First time see KJ in sch and it happened that i realised we sat at the same seat on the bus in the morning cos i realised it was her by her striking chopstick-like hairpin. Then was rather funny to meet in such fashion.. cos we were using comp in LWN lib in the same level.. and it is over the msn that i realised that.

Today is a slack day. paid attention to the first but not second lect.. cannot... muz pay more attention later!!

Tired

Wilson invited me to join him and his sec sch frens to play soccer today, and i obliged since it had been a long time that there is no soccer game for me. And woke up ard 815am (so early..) and laze ard.. so reached the field late at ard 930. Played 6 on 6 on a small field against some malay uncles. They r v friendly ppl=) Won 4-2. Then we went over to join some guys at e street soccer court. Manage to win all 3 games i had played with them, before i leave to rush back for tuition.
Qihao is v listless today.. think what i said for 2 hrs will nt be capture much by his brain. And now i am ultra tired.. but still have to rush to do tuts for tml. guess that is the life i am gg to lead.. but i am quite glad with the variety of activities i am involved with.

Bball

Hoi~sat is as usual bball day. And this time rd the bball gang is depleted in numbers. onli me cg weian and weixiang went. luckily uncle's side there r ard 5-6 ppl. And baby face came too. And there is this v gd player who is as gd if nt better than baby face who joined us too. And today's game is rather ok.
after which, me cg and wx went for lunch. and me went alone to lib and stayed there stoning from 3 to 7pm. did a little tut. sian.

And went to buy cake and stuffs for the mini bdae celebration for dad at home. Happy birthday bro and dad!! Their bdae differ by a day onli..

1st week over

1st week over. had a nice day at sch today. went to sch for badminton with wilson, rachel and mansze. Then went to had lunch at can 2 together. Yummy western food. i love the way they fried their chicken cutlets. Then went lectures with ShaoQi and another guy. Was a little stressed up by a lecturer.. cos he said got assignements to be handed in on alt lects which r taken into account of the quiz. And during the 1 hr break, went to play chinese chess with the 2 of them at CEE club and also watched 2 china students playing weiqi. After which, went to popular at s4 to get the RC txtbk. 48 bucks!! and that is after discount! so ex... and i cant find 2nd hand for other txtbks... meaning that i may have to get 1 or 2 more liao. spending more money in that case. Well, happy till then. regreted carrying my struct txtbk to sch. didnt use it! and it was freaking heavy. And came back to catch the 7 pm show. a v v nice show! did no tutorial today. intended to do so.. but didnt. feel so lousy. soooo lousy. overall, nothing special for such a day like this, but i like it. oh ya.. except for a bun bite.

LOL.. yup. not celebrating today thru any specially planned activities. Is just another rest day. I suspect the street is gonna be very quiet.. cos everyone thinks that today is a public hols.. thus, the streets will be v crowded and so planned not to go out. And if everyone thinks likewise, then the streets r gonna be empty.

While watching the NDP, i cant help but feel proud of the performers. Actualli we dun talk abt our love for country usually.. but i think everyone on this piece of land do love our country deeply. This is especially true for me after serving NS. Well, nice marching i must say for this year's GOH. Yup.. back to the parade..hoping for a nice fireworks later~!

Today

Haha.. pon sch today. First pon of the sem. But it is an hr of lecture onli.. and i read the notes up today at the tamp lib. So no problem catching up.

Yup. And while at the lib, i wanna read the Newpaper, but there was an uncle sleeping at the table which the Newpaper was chained to. And when i approached him, he said that he was very tired and pleaded me to let him sleep on. ZZZZZ. Then he asked me to come back in half an hr's time. I was initially v frustrated cos how can he delay others' time for his own sleep... but then thinking twice, i think that he was realli v tired ..maybe due to his work or dunno what stuff.. so was desperately in need of rest.. so i just walked off and didnt even complain this to the librarian. Heee.. increase in karma points =P

First day of Year 3

Went to sch rather early today. And took the packed train to Boon Lay. The new bus interchange is freaking different. The 179 stop is sooooo far lor... worse than the old one. Dotz....
But today seemed so happening. cos a lot of freshies... LOL.. get to see those kids coming to sch is such a nice feeling. Lectures as usual. And as usual, i dozed off a bit when i am trying to pay attention. Ok la.. but overall.. a nice day. Met Zhang Xin on bus, and attended lecture with JinRong. Then went to JP to eat KFC with him. Walked ard a bit to see JP's changes before heading home. Took train back with Huiyu and litian. Headed to Tamp Lib to read up the notes(so guai). Then went to TM and walked ard with Yangshan for a while looking for her stuffs. I think today can be considered a more happening day than the usual school days ba. Boring days r coming.. and i can feel the heat...ROAR!! Tuts coming! Tests coming!

School starting, new beginning =)

Tml is first day of sch.. and it is a fresh beginning.. well.. time flies fast. tml is my first day as a Yr 3 student. haha.. hope that the start tml will be a nice one..and hope my following days will be good. Yeah.

Today is a mixed feeling day. disappointed with myself, yet also feel happy abt myself.
Well, those things that had passed, i shall nt brood abt them. Will make sure my future days r well used and will be doing the right things too. For tml, shall 加油.

Yest's bball game marks the last day playing before sch starts. Nice day cos many turned up for bball. but a pity all of us had to leave after bball game, as we all had our own stuffs to do. Bought a pair of new Reebok bball shoes. high ankle one. as usual, my favourite red. and got it at a low price of 70 dollars. and it is the last pair available too. LOL.

And today got the transportation notes from Shimin. plan to read up a little before lesson commences. Chatted a while with her too.

My target for this sem is 1) to perform as consistent as usual. 2)And not to stress myself up. Cos i realised when i study without stress.. i perform better.. as testified in my intersem result. 3) to live a balanced lifestyle. I dun wan to be not exercising or playing bball due to sch work, though this sem i am having more core mods than usual. And i intend to play badminton as freq as possible. That is gd for the health and mind.

Internet up

internet been down for 2 days. But all thanks to Laiyee again =) though u didnt directly helped me.. but still, u assisted in the repairing of my connection. Thanks!

So what have i been up to for these 2 days?

Thurs, met Heng Swee, Chiew Lin, Bryan and Linda for KTV at Chinatown. Oh my.. onli Bryan is the onli one to reach before 2. And me, HS, CL, Linda went there pretty late. But then we had an enjoyable time there. Then Linda left for meeting, and so the 4 of us ate at a stall having La Mian at ard 7pm, before Bryan went to sing again with his mahjong gang at the same place for another few hrs.. CRaZy! haha. After which, the three of us travelled to City Hall to stroll ard Raffles City. Think we did pretty much chatting then..

Then today Soon Eng came all the way from CCK to my hse. So i bring him ard TM and CS. Then we went to Tamp lib to read up some mag and listen to music. After which he came to my hse and that is when i quickly contacted Lychee to repair my Int connection. Since SE wanted to play LAN, so i quickly arranged a session at Katong with the Warcraft Dota khakis. Managed to get Weibin, Hanlip and Andy along too. And SE left at ard 10 pm while the rest of us played till ard 12 midnight. On our way back, me and Andy met Lai Hock on the bus. and so we chatted LOL. nice to see him ard. Also met Shao Yu and Mei Jun in the day while with SE. Guess that is the advantage of studying in TPJC. Can get to know a lot of ppl in Tamp.

Well, tml is bball day again. R u all ready, guys?

A day at ECP

Before gg to ECP the sky was gloomy and seemed to be threatening our plan for the day. But luckily it was a false alarm as the rain came and went in a huff. So the sky was clear once more before 2pm. And met Wilson and Rachel at Yangshan's place to take a ride together with mantou. Met up with Yujing and alan + hak nan at PP. Then went ECP to cycle. The cycling stretch was repaved with proper road for some segment.. and think it is better for riders. Overall, enjoyed the cycling, cos i could feel the thighs working. And after that, we went to Giant to purchase stuffs for BBQ. and buying stuffs tog with frens r v interesting..u nv know how knowlegable they r...till they reveal they expertise.

And we ended up starting the fire quite late at 8 plus. Ended up Shaoqi waited for us for a while at the pit area. Luckily, the starting fire process was smooth, all thanks to mantou's dennis, who came at the right time. And in all, the whole BBQ is nice =) Eat good food (good wings!), Played card games, and enjoying sea breeze with others' companionship. But the good time is ending real soon. Sch reopening in a few days' time. But i think this hols is rather fulfilling~ did my ICT, did an intersem, got tog with BBall gang, esp got to see Kes and Erik. met up with uni ppl and also S21 classmates. Plus occasionally got some short job stint. Good. But a petty is my mood gets easily bad this hols.. super affected by one thing. But shall not mention here.. meant to be a happy entry.

Well, lectures and tutorials, here i come!

00S21

Today was a relaxing and enjoyable day out. At 3pm (which i was late by like half hr and took half an hr to have my lunch and breakfast) , met CQ,HL and SQ for lan at katong. The following 3 hrs were followed by intensive concentration on the screen. After which, we went to meet the rest of the S21 people at city hall. 15 people turned up for this gathering. Nice =) The main aims r to meet up with erik who returned from US and also served as a class gathering. went billy bombers for dinner. We were arranged to sit at a long stretch of 7 tables aligned together. Took pics, ate nice food and also chit chatted a lot. The staff was also friendly =)

Then some of the girls went off first as they had to work tml, and the rest of us went to starbucks for some refreshments. Took many pics there, and we interacted even more.. this time rd is better, cos we r gathering ard 2 tables, so there r not as many split groups among us like in billy bombers. V nice outing=) like it and hope that more of this sort r to come!

相见不如偶遇

Been thinking abt this. it is a rather valid statement.

Fell sick.. had flu.. cos having coughs, colds and sore throat. Think might have gotten the virus from mantou -_-
This means i need to recover asap for tml's BBQ.. and couldnt sleep well due to the imflammation of the throat. Slept at 2, wake up at 430 and then go back to sleep, onli realising i woke up again at 8 +. So went to take 5 pills...

Later gonna meet S21 people for a long awaited gathering. There r ard 15 of us meeting up this time. Wohoo~But before that, will be meeting ChiQiang, HanLip and ShaoQi for lan. ShaoQi brother made his way to katong to join us from his hse in the west. Thanks sia~

ok, now feeling sweaty. hope i wont have fever. *pray*
