Mp3 spoilt ='(

This is one of the things that i dreaded.. mp3 player isnt working.. and the warranty just expired.. cre8tive just gave 1 yr of warrant, which i think is kind of too short. Hey i spent a few hundred bucks on their prodt (plus i replaced it once for 125 bucks) and i am only entitled to 1 yr of warranty? i know i sounded it out a bit late, but i realised 1 yr isnt long.. and my mp3 player is still v new. and now the charge for repairing could cost well up to 100 dollars, which i might as well buy a new prdt. i'd heard that their maintenance and support isnt gd, which i couldnt judge, but to me, i think their prdt maintenance is certainly too expensive.

Ok, some people out there may think this way: a poor guy shldnt be complaining abt the maintenance fees and indulge in such luxury, if in the first place he couldnt afford the maintenance fees.
Oh well, but that is none of ur business.

Ok, some ppl will maybe talk to me in this tone: U lar, so clumsy, didnt take gd care of it.. there u see, now spoil liao, haha , u deserve it.
Ok, i admit i am v careless and is rough to my gadget, but again, none of ur biz.

arghh.. but the gd thing is that now i have an excuse to MAYBE buy the new Z-en stone +, which i had been aiming for, ever since nina told me abt it. 2GB, 99 bucks, small and light, chic in design and comes with an LCD screen. but again, i need to consider, it is cre8tive's prdt, meaning the warranty may be as short as my old mp3 player. i dun know abt other brands' warranty period, but to me, 1 yr is a bit too short. maybe this is the standard length of warranty for all mp3 players.. but isnt that too short? 1 yr = 12 months... 12 months.. is so short! 356 days man! if i divide it by 300 (minus weekend and pub hols) 1 working day of the player will cost 1 dollar plus.. excluding my own electric bill for charging it.

ok, read the news, Iraqi team won the asian cup, hee, and i am happy abt that, cos the dark horse outshone the rest! and isnt it great that the team brought along a rare occasion for their war-tattered country to celebrate in joy(or perhaps unison)? i believed the players did play every game for their folks in Iraq.

alright, temp work ending tml, i am quite happy with the short stint with the dept, will definitely miss the environ .. a lot of ppl in the dept r leaving soon.. and what will be left r only memories from now on..

what shld be done

today, while lunching with my colleagues, CY asked me whom i went to watch Nancy Drew with. knowing his teasing power, i denied to answer his question.. but the seldom-talk-to-me SM added that my denial would hurt JA. i guess denial=seems sneaky in their eyes when everything is normal outing and stuffs. And while with Nina today, i told her why i denied, she said she understood, but she said i was immature when come to handling things like this. I knew i did sth wrong when i denied.. but that was nt v obvious. But i used a lame excuse to decline Thurs' movie trip due to the lunch incident, i knew it was a foolish decision, yet i went on to execute the act.. and of cos.. incur the wrath of JA. But she didnt know anything abt the lunch talk though she was just beside us.. or perhaps she chose nt to believe in what she heard. Hmm, after nina explained to me and advised me to proceed with Thurs' trip, i'd decided to act on her advice. I felt bad to lie to her.. but my negative emotions ran high when i tot of the possible rumours that would be coming after Thurs' trip if ever anyone happens to discover us. I tot i was selfish, as what Chris said before.. only caring abt how i feel, and not how she feels if she knew abt my actions. Tsk tsk.. i felt that i am a total sucker at that pt of time.

anyway, today had a new part time colleague whom is also from NTU. she is from ENE and happened to know YS and YQ. kind of chat with her during lunch.. and she is definitely intrigued to know what is going on thru' our conversation during lunch time. and she knew a little secret of mine too fast for a fren this new. my blabbering puts me on a spot now..

post ICT

ICT made the week seemed v long.. haha.. but this ICT is quite slack.. i shall nt mention what we did in camp, so as not to jeopodise national security. But this ICT surely brought a lot of wonderful memories to the platoon, cos we had really good times together in camp. after ICT, met up with platoon ppl(Neo, ZK, Benny, Andy, Ah-Lau and Watt) to have steamboat at Bugis. Ah-Lau treated me to beer and i had no choice but to take a mugful of it. After the drink ,Was a bit tired , cos didnt rest after out-processing.but anyway, we still hanged out for a little while more to walk ard, before gg for dessert at Liang seah street.

Gamed with tse and wb that very night till 4am. missed dota terribly after the no book out stint of 2 n a half days. Woke up late the next morning for bball.. luckily i didnt miss much as the rest of the gang also came quite late. Had the best session ever since dunno when. lol. the highlight is the last 2 matches, where uncles sent their line-ups whom v much outsized everyone of us in our line-up. But we still won them consecutively in 2 matches! our team consists of kiat, HK , kester and me. i tot we would be sent tumbling out of the court from start, but unbelievely, HK and kiat's on form defence sent us on a 2 match win streak. V much like a finals we played, can see tt the team is v spirited after the wins.. =P

went home to wash up before meeting Steven, Kes, CG, HK and Goat for dinner. Had a super full meal at Hereen's Billy Bombers. There, lol, me and HK caught a cute waitress whom looked so much like JiaXuan, but she is definitely much prettier than her. And the service there is nt bad, making the dining experience enjoyable. After which, we went Cine to jalan ard, before deciding to head for home. On the way, met Geraldine (aka Lisa) and her fren. Since she asked me to accompany her back to Tamp, but had to walk to DG station, therefore i departed the rest at Somerset station. Whao, this is the 1st time we ever chatted this long, but we struck conversation with ease. and we chatted till ard 2am before i head home after walking with her to her block. felt like sleeping then, but didnt.. lol, and played a game of dota. i wouldnt regret the decision! cos i had a nice 4 v 5 game! saved the replay and think will send to wb to let him see how good the team is under such adversity of lacking in manpower.
