The unfateful day in September
Ok, due to some enquires, i will elaborate on yesterday and today.
U see, my bball gang is a kaypoh gang. We see ramee(la4 mei4)--code words together and will want to know the lastest gossip within our gang. A gang with thrived for 6 plus years.. with new people joining.. and also old guys leaving. But then, the spirit of the gang is always here. cos we have the most regular person ard, that is Hang Kuang. Today we chatted abt the Xmas card. Imagine, if i never sent him that in my Sec3/4, then he will not come to TPJC and form with the pioneers of this gang the what-is-used-to-call Toon Squad. Stupid name by Weian ... haha.
And yah, fate lar.. so today, ok hmm.. i shall talk abt yesterday first. After leaving sch, i met JunTing at TM at 915pm. and he said he was very sian.. so i pei pei him to take a stroll down the shopping lanes. So qiao, met Joanna and Shimin at MRT. and we even took the same train, just that we didnt met one another. I was with JiaHui on the way back.
And so, the coolest Ah Meng in sg and me went to Ntuc and some other shops to get some stuffs. After which, he insisted to find his friend, whom i highly suspect is someone he likes.. but he keep insisting that he wants to introduce her to me.. want to use me as an excuse to go to see her.. He told me he specially came to TM to walk ard with me.. haha.. as if i am one with IQ=-ve. Of cos the aim is to see her lah.. then even use that lousy excuse.. didnt even tell the girl my name lor.. what kind of introduction is that? haha.. but so unlucky.. Isetan, where the girl is working, is closing in 5 mins time when he got there. so the girl shooed him away.. haha.. so ke lian right, and in the end, we went to walk ard. and he wanted to meet her after her work, but she went home straight.. and so we waited for nothing there. wanted to chase after her, but yet didnt dare to .. hai.. haha, that is what i guessed. maybe he realli just want to intro me to her. cannot anyhow say out his intention. Btw, the girl is not bad looking .. so i gained more than i lose. lol.
And so the myth behind me meeting JT so late is now an open secret, and u guys' kaypohism shld be kept in control lah.. although i have got a lot of juicy news.. haha.. but this is a special request.
And today played bball at tampines in evening.. and i sprained MY BLOODY ANKLE ONCE MORE. DAMN IT. WHY THE HECK IS THE ANKLE NOT RECOVERING SOON? I WANT MY BBALL. so hor, next week go swimming lah.. at Yong jian's place. ok?? can watch ramee. remember the orange bikini clad girl? haha.
WEll, but i insisted on playing. and not bad for a bai Kar. i can still play pseudo normally.
Weibin wanted me to type here. HE FIRST TIME SCORED SO MANY POINTS IN A GAME. NOt bad sia. the 7th point.. and u also scored the rest of the 4 points. although amateur style for our team, but i like the fighting spirit! and again it happened when i sprained my ankle again.
Yeah, and our game took to a higher level with more emotion involved. I fouled kiat and he hit his head on the pole.. and weibin's leg kanna cramped.. even the ramees and the old guy watched finish the game before they all went back home for more dramas at channel 8.
How shiok is that? ten minutes of NBA. that is high enuff. a baikar with a cramped kar and a rodman won the game! U know, that gives some hope to the old guy. Now , maybe he will believe in miracles. Miracles in normal daily lives. At least. WIll and determination still plays a huge factor in excelling from others.
Luckily, my ankle didnt swell like 3 weeks ago. but i shld say that the live-like -last-day style of playing was realli worth all the pain.
Not bad .. now with Ah liang and weibing and hopefully Zen's entry, i hope that the gang will be growing. maybe we could even have our very own gathering like last time at the Hanlip's chalet. 17 guys. how was that? no bbq, all r guys' stuffs. maybe this time round will need more coordination, hopefully kester will be back then. then our reunion dae will be coming soon.
Forget abt those irritating troubles and work and those disturbing r/s stuffs, we just conc on watching ramees.. maybe from tv?haha. i want my fried sotong mee now, not the prawn one, and definitely not the tiger prawns.
