Bird day
Botanic tour followed by this celebration at party world todae.
First went to Botanic early in the morning. Oh it is just beside SMU. and the garden changed a lot since i last went there. haha. nice and green place to visit on a sunny sunday morning. i was amazed by how the lecturer had managed to spot so many specis of birds and how he identify so many from just mere calls and shadows.. wha.. haha. and i spotted and recorded 35 species within 3 hours. even picked up a black swan feather. and the trip is very enriching. think it is not easy if no good bird spotter is ard to guide.. so i am glad we got the telescope and binoculars to help us to spot the birds too! Oh ya.. a mother of 2 kids happened to asked me wat is the name of a water bird(a white breasted waterhen) and i answered her as if i am a pro haha and she was telling her kids the name repeatedly. then after which i flunked my limited knowledge by telling her the names of a duck(lesser whistling duck) and a kingfisher. haha and my new fren there said i was a sian-er.. wat the.. i want to sian also sian younger gers mah.. wah lau.. being helpful is also a fault.. sigh..
and met wif The People at party world in orchard. was fun today esp after Huiyu came to give everyone a surprise. after which we had a cream fight! haha. no body was spared! and we took a lot of photos , thanks to Zhijia's digicamera. and the celebration was unexpectedly fun. haha. i expect it to be so so.. but good lar.. not easy to organise lei..
well, yesterday i played in a part of an official soccer match, joining my bro's team. there is a field (booked with 140 dollars) and a referee(100 bucks , just for 90 mins!) and i played a right midfield in second half for ard 20 mins.. didnt do a lot but i managed to prevent the opponent from having a decent shot. and my bro saved a lot of shots! haha. and our team( my bro's frens) battled to a 2-0 victory, leaving the opponents(mainly 1984 TPJCians) fuming and frustrated.
tomolo is going for badminton and tuesday may be going to TP for badminton too.. hmm.. hope my arm can take it.. that is the reason why i didnt join the bball gang for bball and swimming.. So long didnt join them.. hope that they all will still miss me!!
